FAQ

Do I need separate AI API keys?

No. WaveAssist includes an OpenRouter token free up to generous usage limits. Just connect your GitHub account and GitZoid runs.

How is this different from Dependabot or GitHub's built-in scanning?

Those raw scans are free and noisy. GitZoid reads them in the context of your repo and reports only real, exploitable issues, each with who is affected and a one-line fix. When nothing is exploitable, it stays silent.

Will GitZoid spam my inbox?

No. It never repeats an issue you have already seen or fixed. A clean week is just the one weekly digest. A security alert only arrives when something is real and urgent.

How often does each part run?

PR reviews run continuously, about every two minutes or on a webhook. The dependency scan runs daily and the deep code audit weekly. The digest arrives every Monday.

What is in the weekly digest?

A plain-English summary of what shipped, read from your actual code diffs and not commit messages, grouped by project, plus a security roll-up of what is new, still open, and resolved. It comes as an email and a PDF.

Does it work with private repositories?

Yes. GitZoid works with public and private repos you have access to. It is open source and read-only, and it never silently changes your code.

What happened to GitDigest?

GitDigest is now GitZoid's weekly digest. The same changelog, now part of one agent that also reviews pull requests and watches for security.

How much does it cost?

Free to start. Your first runs are on us, no card required. After that you pay only for what you use.
